By now Reiner's face bore a visible mark where she'd struck him that he knew was likely to hang around for a few hours until it healed fully. The sting would drop out of it much sooner but breaking up a bruise was still a more time consuming process even with the accelerated healing offered by the bees. At least it was only hours and not days. He had things to do.
Miklos hadn't hung up on her, at least, but he didn't offer any further explanation either. Ultimately she was a big girl and he trusted she was capable of sorting out her own mess.
Even if he'd technically made the mess via omission.
